Spittleborough Farm is an organic fully working farm, part of a larger holding producing milk, cereals (including wheat and beans), and beef. Essential to the countryside is a well balanced program of diversification, at the heart of which is our ethos that farms are a beautiful place to be enjoyed by many.
From the renewable energy we produce, to helping local clubs, such as bee keepers whose bees help pollinate our meadow fields and hedgerows, and much more; our diversification is orientated around enhancing the environment and preserving the natural beauty of the countryside.
The farm itself, once part of the Midgehall Estate has been in private ownership since 1906. Spittleborough Farmhouse as a wedding reception venues provides a wonderful opportunity for guests to share in the uniqueness of the countryside with those looking for a rural wedding venue with a difference. Each year we put more and more back into the conservation of our garden areas, the preservation of the Farmhouse and its lovely setting; we hope for many more people to enjoy.
In addition to hosting a select number of weddings we are pleased to be able to offer our venue for a charity event each year. We would welcome the opportunity to hear from charities looking for a unique venue for a fundraising event.
